What if you logged onto the forum
And there was no Open 7?
What if the Open Forums
Disappeared to Forum Heaven?

And what if there wasn’t even
A replacement number eight
Would you know what to do
Or would you hesitate?

Would you head to the Pub
Or the Dark Passions place
Would you take a journey?
Wearing your Spiritual face?

There’s a world here that
You have yet to see
So take my hand, my friends
Come and follow me.

Right there below Open Seven
Critical Analysis is what you find
With loving words, fellow poets,
Explore the world of the poet mind.

Now perhaps you find a story
Forming from within
A story of love or sadness
That’s where Prose Forum comes in

If you can’t post poetry or prose
And miss our conversation
You should seek discussions
For mental stimulation

Feelings is where you can share
Thoughts of love and pain
The Alley is where we argue it out
Again and again and again

Perhaps you need an answer
There’s Q&A for questions
And of course there’s  a box too
For all your forum suggestions

A forum for Challenges
And one for Publishing Tips
One for discussions of
Philosophical quips

Announcements and links
To sort out life’s news
Links to other sites
For us to pick and choose

Then if you find you need help
Constructing your story or rhyme
Check out the workshops provided
You’ll be smarter in no time!

The moral of this story my friends
Is Passions has more to offer you
We love to read your poems Open
But please visit the other forums too!

Thanks Poet deVine ... that was a wonderful invitation!!!  If I can get some packing and a house move done, I hope to have some time, and I'll have a peak around. I've just had such fun in Open 7 ... and everyone is so wonderful, that I really haven't perused the rest yet!  Thanks for the reminder ... I'll promise to try in the near future.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Hi Poet deVine,

The title of this had me hooked from the second I saw it and the content is just as good, you are so right about visiting other forums, I think I will print this and tape it to something to remind me their out there, I am a creature of habit and change comes slow and rare.

Thank you so much,

Love, Cerenity

Poet deVine,
Point well taken!!  Excellent idea to present it in poetic form!!  I try to get around to all the forums, but sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day.  There is some great stuff out there just waiting to be discovered!!  Thanks!!

This is great, deVine one. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in Open we forget about all the other wonderful rooms available to us. Thanks for the reminder.

Very good advice indeed..... I myself am pretty guilty of overlooking and under-using (is that a word?) most of all of the useful rooms available to us here at passions..

No doubt. . . I started here at Passions in Dark, and have been everywhere since then. . . haven't had the courage to post in CA yet, but I'm getting there. . . and of course I love a challenge. . . and you don't really know how Passionate things can get around here unless you've visited Adult!!!

And of course, The Alley, and Philosophy give the mind opportunity to stretch and flex. . .and I wouldn't miss Announcements!!

So, thanks deVine for this one. . . it's great!!!  And I hope everybody takes a look around. . . we'll leave the light on for you. . .

Very creative writing...but what about the teen poets...those developing poets of the future.  Sure would like to see more encouragement for them from the seasoned poets.  I have noticed that many teens are posting in #7 due to lack of responses i guess in the teen forum.
Anyway, enjoyed reading your poem!

Hmm...Danny has a point!!! Maybe we should read in Teen..do you think the teens would mind? I thought they wanted a place just for their work...I would love to see a mingling..and we will certainly do so when the Mentoring program gets under way!!!

That was a scary thought...no forum 7... but you have a point I am just beginning to look beyond this forum at all the other wonders this site has. In case anyone is wondering I am the very opinionated one in philosophy 101. Great poem, and good reminder. I will have to take the proper tour of this site.

This is great advice, very well said. Sometimes it's time though, the reason I can't sail through many of the others. I have visited the Teen and The dark both very interesting places to be.
Thanks for this reminder to explore the others they are all a part of this great big family

I thought maybe a humor section could be fun for a laugh! (Poetic Laughter)
Maybe there is one somewhere in here. I haven't checked yet! But now that you
have rhymed these places to see I'll check. This cyber space just keeps expanding.
All those years of writing rhymes of love and pain and anything else that’s on the
brain, never thought people would get to read any of it. So far I've only posted
things that were written the day before or a few. Because Passions has opened
the doors to a place where we can all express our passion as the seconds go by.
Even though we can respond or post with all the time in the world, it seems there
is never enough time. These other forums are they a cure for open 7 or another
addiction. LOL
What about the chaos factor? (Like myself.) R O 2.5 F L M A O

Love this place when I get a chance to be here.
Hope all of you don't mind a little strange and odd sometimes!

We needed this. I believe the "draw" is the amount of response, the feedback every poet wants, but I myself have visited the other forums, but admit to having a preference for the open.
However, I will certainly make an effort to shop around!!!!!
thanks for the push
