Sable Scents
~*Marge Tindal*~

On sable scents
of love's relent
the echo is resound
wafting on anguished breath of air
a new love has been found

Sent across night's canyon
the wail of heart-in-aching
found the breast of another
in which to stir awakening

The sable hue of broken heart
has reached another soul this night
boomeranging love my way
as if by designing light

On sable scents
of love's relent
screamed out to the sky
found a heart to light within
for another heard my plaintive cry

On rush of breeze
sent back to me
refreshing love now stands
within a heart now cradled
in another's tender hands

Sensual and sad...wonderful verse!

^_^ ladySofia

That time of year thou mayst in me behold, When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang, Upon those boughs which shake against the cold, Bare ruined choirs where late the sweet birds sang. In me thou see'st the twilight of such day, As after sunset fadeth in the west, Which by-and-by black night doth take away, Death's second self that seals up all in rest. In me thou see'st the glowing of such fire, That on the ashes of his youth doth lie, As the deathbed whereon it must expire, Consumed with that which it was nourished by. This thou perciev'st, which makes thy love more strong, To love that well which thou must leave ere long.
William Shakespeare

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Marge, that was wonderful

"wafting on anguished breath of air
a new love has been found"

"Sent across night's canyon
the wail of heart-in-aching"

"boomeranging love my way
as if by designing light"

"On rush of breeze
sent back to me
refreshing love now stands
within a heart now cradled
in another's tender hands"

magical images, I am gald that you turned a negative situation positive.

Lil' Lizzie~
Hey, little one .. tried to e-mail you TWICE this morning ...both came back ... so let me know when you're up and running.
Thank you for popping in and for liking this, I agree ... not sad at all ... a glimmer of hope for all who are searching.
Love you ...
