Let your fears displace themselves, Don't lose sight on Hope. Is all we have is Faith, That We will find love? I recognize my fears, Even as I record them here. I too fear Love, And all its many hurts. I even try to hide themaway, Push them into words, Close the cover upon the book, Pray the Sun will never, Touch its face again, Or to even grace another Human Ear. You are not alone In your fears and self doubt Don't lose sight of your dreams Hold them tightly As you would hold The one you love. |

First of all, Welcome to Passions and also to this forum... This is a poignant piece. vivid too! I just hope that you open up your book and let the rays of sun touch your heart afresh... Regards, sudhir Life is like a painting, That in an art gallery is left hanging, Though many come just to look at it, A very few actually come to enjoy it. |

we all fear getting hurt in love but it is worth the fear. Embrace your fears, beautiful poem. |

What's that quote? "Tis better to have loved and lost. . ."? Don't let your fear of love stop you from finding love, because if you fear love, you might miss it. . . . Welcome, Cyndey!! What's that saying? Oh yes, nothing ventured nothing gained. Have to risk to gain and not fear losing. Great piece!! LW |

To open yourself up to love means you also have to expose yourself to the risk, but it is much better than the alternative. Not all those who wander are lost. ~J.R.R. Tolkien |
