I wish I was a better man,
     With a sexy car,
and a killer tan.
'Cause maybe things would be different than,
The way things, right now, are.

I wish I had a six-pack,
     And beautiful blue eyes.
A couple things, I'd rather lack.
Truth is that I just don't stack
Up to those other guys.

But I'll always have that night,
The night that you were mine.
That feeling at first sight,
And in your eyes, the candle light.
The eve of Saint Valentine.

(Dedicated to Stacey)

Hay Hippie,

This is so wonderful, I love it. I am so glad you posted it, does Stacy know it is about her? I can't wait to see more of your work and I am so glad you took me serious and checked this place out, you will love it here. I'll tell Stacy to read this she is going to be so red (RED) and I am going to tell her the hole world can see this (smile)

WELCOME TO PASSIONS,

Love, Cerenity

This is soooo lovely!! I was off to bed, but I had to take a look into this flapping file on my screen! Well, I have this to say:
"I wish that you have all you ever wish for."

Hi Sweetie,

Don't worrie some times the forum is slow or you post at a odd time, but believe me the people in here are wonderful but also very busy as most have full lifes, they are out there. And remember what I said about posting to others work, this will prompt them to look for your work, and also you will get to know the other poets as well.
I have not been very active myself lately because of STUFF in my life and it happens to all of us at one time or another, but I see you have posted other poems as well and later I will stop and enjoy.

Love muches,
Cerenity

 Life is like a painting,
That in an art gallery is left hanging,
Though many come just to look at it,
A very few actually come to enjoy it.

Thanks, hippie teen, for sharing this poem with us.  Welcome to passions.  Often we feel we don't stack up to others but in the eyes of the one we love we are wonderful and stack over all others.  If you love someone you love everything about them.  Wonderful poetry keep it coming.
