I've been called the King of Romance, but I'm nothing so grand I'm just a normal, simple man who's known the touch of love's hand Love has always walked with me for as long as I can remember I have known the first flames of love as well as love's ember My words of love my friends come from a heart that's gentle and true To show you all the spectrum of love in every passionate hue With my canvas this page, my brush this pen, and my colors these words I can sing to you gentle friends, in keys that have never been heard So while I may be the King of Romance, I'll never wear the crown I'll just continue to sing to you the songs that I have found And if my gentle words of love touch your heart or make you sigh Know that they come from my heart, a heart that believes that love never dies ------------------------------------------------------------------------ That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
