Where There Is No Need For Words

You held me last night,
naked against you,
as your kisses stole the words
and sighs
from my silky lips.

We communed through skin,
as each breath;
every heartbeat
shouted
where dialogue became unnecessary.

Your touch
became the vessel
for your thoughts
and we needed no conversation
to speak in volumes
of our feelings.

Rocked to sleep
like a child
in your arms,
I drifted off;
contented
in love’s lullaby.

~For Rodger...who leaves me speachless (not an easy task I might add   )

~Ruth~

There are no words powerful enough to tell you how beautiful this poem is.  You just keep amazing me with your talent.  I should take lessons from you.  And I am happy for you that you have found a love so true!  You go girl!

Take care,

Sometimes words just do not convey the true experience of what we feel.  Silence can be it's own language and touch the universal.

Sometimes the best words are those which need never be said.  Wonderful Ruth.  I hope you are feeling better.

How wonderful to need no words to speak to one another.
It's an awesome feeling isn't it?
This is so beautiful hoot owl. I so enjoyed
this. Made me smile.
