Footprint By Kelly embedded in earth now a trail left to follow unfound, washed away ~Kellsue Reflect upon your present blessings-of which every man has many-not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some. ~Charles Dickens We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. ~Winston Churchill |

Those three lines say alot, first of all we all want to leave a mark in this work make a footprint and be remembered for something (maybe I am just talking for myself here), but history is like the sea washing and cleansing/fading the past. Though if we walk a good path our children will follow our footprints. A fantastic poem, you have got me thinking, but I will stop before I start ranting |

KellSue~ I love what you did with your footprint Haiku. Very effective. I'm always inspired by the creativity and the wonder of Haiku. Washing out to sea no more Etched on stable ground ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
