Searching high and searching low What I'm looking for I don't know Someone to share my hopes and dreams Patch my heart's open seams Ease the pain that's been caused Help my life become unpaused One who will be here day after day Not letting little things get in the way Someone that I can give my love to Who will make me happy when I am blue And will love me in return Sharing with me the lessons they've learned If I ever find the one I seek Will try to be bold and not meek Reveal to them my heart's desire Hope that they light the fire Share with them the meaning of passion Bet it is deeper than they could fashion There will be lots of romance Nothing will be left to chance Looking for my soulmate The one who will help me create A life meant for me and you Nothing less will ever do Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W.
