Two souls... Reaching out... Find each other. Two worlds... Brought together... By untold circumstances. Amazing... How words typed on a blank screen... Can so touch ones heart. And she can’t help but wonder... What things would be like... If only in a different time and space. < !signature--> To love means never to be afraid of the windstorms of life: should you shield the canyons from the windstorms you would never see the true beauty of their carvings. ~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross [This message has been edited by hoot_owl_rn (edited 05-12-2000).] |

"Amazing how words typed on a blank screen...can so touch ones heart." Ruth I have found myself thinking this over and over again as I have shared the poetry on this website...it is amazing the way my heart is touched...all the different emotions I feel. Lovely thoughts. James |

the poems I read on this site allow me to discover parts of other people, their thoughts while also revealing hidden parts of myself. And that is something truely wonderous. wonderful poem. |

Hoot~ Hi there, gal ! It isn't so much different than other chance meetings ... just easier these days. But, I do agree ... it's amazing how others 'touch' us and bring us to that realm of 'discovery and wonder'. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Ruth, Don't know how I missed this one!! Glad to have found it now though. It is truly amazing how all of us seem to somehow touch each other's lives in some way through our writing and replies. This was beautiful, my friend!! LW |

Ruth, your words speak volumes.... you always seem to touch an emotional chord inside of me, no matter what the subject. This one is just perfection. Joanna What better way to become immortal than to wake up each day and write? Ray Bradbury |

Nice work Ruth, and have a happy Mother's day. If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name. Ruth~ And she can’t help but wonder... What things would be like... If only in a different time and space. Very mystical tone here, dear! This touches me deeply, and I thank you for sharing it!
