I have the power
To make the sun shine
     like a diamond
I have the power
To make the moon hide
     and the stars glisten

I have the power
To make the wind whisper
     my love to you
I have the power
To make the flowers bloom
     in your name

I have the power
To make the rain fall
     gentle on your skin
I have the power
To make the thunder and lightning
fill the sky with my love

I have the power
To show you my love
     in all these ways
Yet I choose this power
The power of the written word
     to show you this love

My wish for you is that you have the power to mend your heart, soul and life and share that with the woman you love.  Beautiful Sven

At last I have heard the song of enlightenment.... In your heart you can hear it now, if you listen....
It is the song your spirit has been singing since the moment of your birth. All lasting victories are won in the heart....

....and sometimes, the power of the written word is the greatest power of all.  Wonderful, empowering poem.

Oh wow!  I love powerful romance!  I think that self-assurance is one of the most "sexy" traits one can have.  This poem definately shows that side of you!     "I have the power..."  WOW.  Nothing better than a man who knows what he's capable of!  "Confidence" is the word I'm looking for!  THAT'S it....that's the sexy trait I like!!      This poem rocks in a sensually powerful way.  Bravo!

 It's amazing
How you make your face just like a wall
How you take your heart and turn it off
How I turn my head and you lose it all ...
And it's unnerving
How one move just puts me by myself
There you go just trusting someone else
Now I know I put us both through hell ...
I'm not sayin
That there was nothing wrong
I just didn't think you'd ever get tired of me
And I'm not sayin
We ever had the right to hold on
I just didn't wanna let you get away from me.

That is some power you have there, Sven.  Hoping it is used for good and not evil.  Words can be mightier than weapons they say.  Whoever this love is, you have it bad for her I think.  Great writing....
