You always seem to know When my tears start to flow You offer me comforting words Unlike any others I've heard Bearing my pain as your own Great compassion you have shown For you I thank the stars above And my friend for your love Always seems to lift me up Shows me the fullness of the cup From which I have drunk so deep So much so it made me weep Can't turn back the hands of time Can you hear those bells chime They signal a whole new beginning Forgive me for ever sinning Offer a chance to begin again I see that thanks to you my friend No way I could ever repay All you've done for me day after day You never cease to amaze With your heartfelt praise Of the words that I write Gives my soul a brighter light Written for a very good friend of mine who has helped me through some tough times....I am forever grateful!!! Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

Marge ~ It is more special than any other I have ever had. She is the greatest and I tell her all the time!!! Almost made her cry with this one.
