Cheater Your eyes are cold and icy Has your heart turned to stone Is she worth leaving Your family all alone You say she is beautiful But yet so is your wife Does the empty passion Compensate for pain and strife You say when you are with her You forget the worries of life But the memory will come back And cut you like a knife You will hold the weapon That stabs you in the back How could you feel at ease It's remorse that you lack When it is all over You'll hurt foever more You may have won the battle But the Devil's won the war |

Very good perception of cheating, Indeed it is deserving of a knife in the back. Great poem Lucidity is the answer to all problems |

Reminds me of a quote that I can't quite remember it goes something like this, "it easier to forgive an enemy who betrays you than a friend who betrays you." great poem, I love the last two lines. |

![]() CS* This is one poem everyone should read prior to taking that cheating step...most have thought about it...even if for only a split second. Very powerfully done! |
