In the space between moments

Valleys drenched in silver-green
I glimpse within my dreams...
Lighted eyes caress the night
And beyond forever gleam...

Willow limbs embrace the wind
Whispering rosy rhymes...
A shadow's hint of what's to come
Grows thickly sweet with time...

His kiss dances, floating free
Upon some distant spray...
With aching need I search for him
Believing he'll come one day...

Reverie tinted in faded emerald
I enfold myself within...
And allow the breeze to softly flirt
And rush upon my skin...

I close my eyes, unlock my soul
Giving trust to destiny...
And pray that when morning blooms
It will be his face I see...

*big dreamy sigh...*  This flowed so smoothly, like liquid silk....MY dreams don't even come halfway close to this, LOL.  I enjoyed this very much.

Wow! this is magnificent!! Your words float like that of a beautiful dream....one I wouldn't want to wake up from, but it also shows the longing for the one that we can only reach for in our dreams....very touching.  You have a gift   thanks for sharing it!

K, this is exquisite,
it dances like a butterfly or feather in the wind.
such fragile longing laced with delicate desire. perfection of your poets pen.
take care, jm

 It's amazing
How you make your face just like a wall
How you take your heart and turn it off
How I turn my head and you lose it all ...
And it's unnerving
How one move just puts me by myself
There you go just trusting someone else
Now I know I put us both through hell ...
I'm not sayin
That there was nothing wrong
I just didn't think you'd ever get tired of me
And I'm not sayin
We ever had the right to hold on
I just didn't wanna let you get away from me.

Krista~
Total enchanment in your muse's offering

You play upon the morning dew
phrases fragrant with perfume
Delight of early morning roses
nightblooming jasmine quietly closes

And on his face ... your smile

*hangs head in shame* Oh!  Such a thing for me to do as miss a poem like this for an entire day?  The shame is too much for me to bear!

A beautiful poem, Krista and I must agree with the others that it flows beautifully.  And if I am not guessing wrong it seems that this poem is about someone?  Excellent poem, milady!

Beautiful poem Krista.  Just beautiful.  I hope your dreams do come true, you deserve it.  The best people in the world deserve the best, and you are at the top of that list!!!  and the list only changes after number two... so you stuck there.

Great poem, I liked it a lot.

Dusk- Thank you, my gracious friend, for your kind comments.

Cassers- Your dreams too deserve to come true.  And they will, my friend.  Thanks for being my rock to lean on and one of my best friends.

It's beautiful, Krista. The way you combine the colors with the thoughts is very striking. Lovely.
