Intensity Lori LockHeart The first time your midnight dark eyes melted with my sky blue ones, I felt it. And to this day, no one has ever looked at me with the same intensity. I think I became a woman in that one heart-piercing instant. And our hearts, souls, and minds have forever since been intertwined. I needed what you gave me. The confidence, strength and willfulness that leaves you breathless. You are a friend. Yet the looks that pass between us are a telling clue To the fierce and passionate closeness that I have always had with you. I know what I do to you, in friendship and in lust. And that urge is your hold on me, your intensity. Being with you is like laughing, crying, living and dying. And yet with all that uncertainty comes a sense of comfort. It will always be like this. Neither circumstances, nor time will ever break this connection. It’s unexplainable. That moment, this feeling, and your presence Will be in my mind, heart, and soul forever. It has undeniably become a part of me - my essence. The essence of this woman is a secret To those closest to her. Except for you. You know. I am so grateful for your intensity. You can see what all it has done for me. |

You perfectly captured the intensity with your poem, I could smell it is the air as a I read each line. The amtosphere of the piece has left me breathless. Bravo. |

now your scaring me ...*smile* wow...this is so amazing here... your writng is exceptional... you nailed the intensity... and the gifts that comes with this kind of connection, and I am taken back with how you have written my own heart in this... now I understand your reply to my "baby" poem...and I know you understand that poem. you have mirrored his effect on my life to the letter... with one slight exception... his eyes were green...*smile* oh and mine are brown  thanks for sharing this... take care,jm It's amazing How you make your face just like a wall How you take your heart and turn it off How I turn my head and you lose it all ... And it's unnerving How one move just puts me by myself There you go just trusting someone else Now I know I put us both through hell ...
