Something About Music ~ ~ ~ You whistle Greensleeves while you cook, this autumn night. ~ ~ ~ Do you know my inner being is swirling around you? Can you feel my desire for our joining? Is the kaleidoscope of my memories visible to your spirit? My love for you wraps tenderly around your dear familiar form. ~ ~ ~ You move peacefully about the kitchen, your delicious lips pursed in music; I can feel them urgent upon my own. You open the oven, and I remember you sweetly opening me, and stoking my own fire as I awakened yours. You carefully fit the long fillets in the skillet, and I think of the entrées to come ... ~ ~ ~ Ah, Greensleeves; as my eyes trace your quiet steps; with melting love, my ardent musing sips; and oh, how gentle is that sound from your honeyed lips. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (Love poem to my wonderful husband.) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ [This message has been edited by Rosemary J. Here try a little piece of this fillet of soul (I mean sole) remember to role it around and around forty times or so and don't swallow it whole. My mother taught me that..! Now look at twat you've gone an done... you need to keep your eyes on your food and get dem off the flesh, blush blush... Nice work baby..! I love you... Rosemary, You've described the 'ordinary' task of cooking in such a loving way and thrown in a pinch of seduction as well. Great job. Sue |

Lucky, Rosemary...who is the more fortunate one in this scenario? One of my favorite musical pieces...Greensleeves...and a man who not only know the piece, but can whistle. I am only envious in the knowledge that the two of you probably enjoy dancing, too. |
