A Tale in Limericks My friend had a girl who did pout, cause she happened to be rather stout. “I was hoping that you knew, where I could buy mu-mus, So at last she’d agree to go out.” I told him I hadn’t a clue, But he dashed out the door as on cue. To the store then he went, Where he bought her a tent, Which was certainly not what to do. But he gave it to her anyway, And wow, did the sparks start to spray! When she hit him real hard, With a bucket of lard, He was out for the rest of the day! He awoke with a lump on his head, On the floor where there once was a bed. She had taken his stuff, Then stormed out in a huff, And the note that she left said drop dead! The moral by now should be clear, when she asks what you think of her rear, as quick as you can, respond like a man. My goodness you’re beautiful dear! |

LOL! Delightful! Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

ROTFLMAO... If it's any consolation - women have to do the same - Flattery gets us everywhere, doesn't it?? Nice to see you're so versatile, my friend... Did you happen to notice the current workshop is on sonnets??? |
