~My Sun In a Jar~

Never alone am I and never alone shall I be
For I carry a ray of sun in a jar wherever I go
Warming the jar which in turn warms my heart
I fear not of the lonely plain.

Days of Hide and Seek now only exist in
where my footsteps are left~ For,
sun in a jar shuns it away
As if it were the wind tossing leaves to the sky.

My sun will never dim nor fade
Warming my existence it will always continue.

Repay the sun and carry it well
Fragile is the jar it stays contained.

And yet, how could this lovely sun, so passionate
and warm...
Could something so plain be its environment?

Hope is what I hold for the holder
Does a gentle angel carry around a jar of sun for me?

FadingSun how imaginative --)
such a great way to carry optimism
in your heart - -- where optimism
is - always hope.    I am sure
that sun in your jar will come through
for you

The symbolism - heart as a jar - I found to be very thought provoking.  Good imagery

Whew!  Sure have got my work cut out for me...but I hereby pledge to do my best!  I sure do like your way of looking at things, and I doubt that you truly fit your name, Fading Sun...you just promise all good things to come!

Right on target, and thank you.

Again, to be complimented by another incredible poet means so much to me. Thank you.

FadingSun~
Such optimism in your 'jar'.
Delightful.
The sun also rises in your heart.
