Gentle hands hold my heart now tenderly soothe the wounds of unkind yesterdays comfort me with warm and loving arms watch over me in uneasy restless sleep the misty dawn unfolds in renewed hope a shadowed kiss of promises to come and I await the splash of orange glow that lights the fragile soul with happiness your loving touch upon this troubled brow renews a faith long lost in senseless doubt unleash the magic of your healing hands upon this supplicant in desperate need the path to you has been torturous and hard beset with wicked snares of frightful tone this miracle I see through tearful eyes arrives at last to guide me home again. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
