Between crisp white sheets I lie Waiting While down the halls I hear Echos of human voices And beeping I want to put on my clothes and leave Don't want to wait Till this cot rolls Yet bare bottomed In open air gown I wait Too late To leave now I've been Prepped The nurse Is rolling me Through the door The doctor smiles A wide grinned smile Telling me It won't be long A sweet nurse holds my hand A needle injects a fluid Into the waiting portal The rest is a blank Till........................ I'm hearing voices... Saying, "Are you going to wake up?" It's over................ |

A scary thing to go through, when your in the hospital. It's always wonderful to wake up and know you'll soon go home. Betty Lou Hebert |

I know how scary the hospital can be. I spent two afternoons there getting operations, and the recovery period was next to hell. *+*Would you be known by everybody? Then you know nobody.~ |
