And she waits
To here his voice
To touch his face
Oh how she waits
To see his smile
To watch him laugh
To taste his taste
And still she waits

Is he there?
Around the corner
Down the street
Oh is he there
Behind the smile
Of those she meets
And does he see?
If she is there

Suzanne; This poem is a lovely anticipation of Love !   Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

nice read. I have not been able to figure out who is the right one. Just when I think I might have found her, she either slips away or shows me a different face.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Waiting is so hard, no matter what it's for, but hopefully, you'll find the wait worthwhile eventually.

SuzanneArlene~
Oh ... this SO touches me~

I waited
I heard his voice
I touched his face
I waited ...
'To see his smile
To watch him laugh
To taste his taste'

And now I wait no more~

'Is he there?'
'And does he see?
If she is there'

This is so reflective of the love I've re-found~
Yes .... now I see his gentle smile~
Thank you for this lovely piece~
