Alpenglow The alpenglow of sunset Puts on its daily show With changing of the colors In undulating flow. I watch in fascination For each succeeding hue And wonder if the Angels Are gazing at it too. At sunset and at daybreak God opens Heaven's door And lets some of its glory spill Upon the Earth once more.
