I know I'm a misfit,
But I know with you I'm safe.
Sometimes my clothes are mismatched,
You say it's ok you love me anyway,
My tantrums tend to get really bad,
You say it's ok I also have good days,
I say the dumbest things,
You never discriminated my disarray..

I've always wondered how you seem to do it effortlessly,
You'll never forsake nor ignore me in times of need,
Your presence inspires me to better myself,
Challenges never seem too daunting anymore,
It must be you that I love,
No one else will do,
Because I'm a misfit,
But with you I'm safe.
