Just sitting here thinking of how things used to be, in that far away time when it was just you and me, the warm summer glaze that gave us such pleasure, the long lazy walks that still I so treasure, the patter of rain on the window sill, steady, the scent of your hair so deliciously heady, holding you gently , so close, not retreating, so close to me that I could hear your heart beating, of secrets so dear, whispered softly at night, under cover of darkness, so perfectly right, to taste your sweet gift, that heart pounding treasure, thoughts of it now still give me such pleasure, I think of it now in the days turned to years, your absence so total gives rise to my fears, that never again will I know someone so right, though I dream of it hopefully in darkness tonight, I cannot predict what will happen tomorrow, I think of you often, as now, with much sorrow, I miss you so much that it need not be said, how I wish you were here now to cradle my head, to nuzzle me softly and to coo in my ear, "it's all right my darling, for now I am here" the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Even with the sadness of the lost, the beauty that this love was shines through in this piece. I hope it helped you to write it. Love's a lovely lad |

Great rhythym, Peg! Hope you don't mind the nickname, not feminising or anything! But again the beat of this was as soothing as the message! You might do without doubling "pleasure" and "treasure" and go with different words, although, they really don't detract. |
