One Sunny Day Trees shaped like lollipops Stand in the sun While their russet, ripe branches Hold leaves by the ton. They shadow the lawn With much needed shade; Children run ‘round And merry is made. The morning is gone, It was dressed in pink hue; It stole away night With a mantle of dew. Ah! But my daydream Is not such a go My sun-covered valley Is drenched white with snow. |

What a lovely picture you have painted here. And before long those lollipop shaped trees will be covered with tons of leaves and giving you lots of shade. I really enjoyed this. Jules |

Dear Barb A lovely verse! Dreaming is a form of imagery! How less stressed our lives would be if we could just for a few minutes a day escape to where our 'dreams' take us! Love Isobel |
