Eternal Thoughts of You

How long does a scent candle last?
How long does a hug good bye last?
How long till I see you my friend?
Happy time passes on so fast, yet it will last.
Today is just as happy as yesterday.
You are always next to my heart.
Just a moment within my thought,
Enlighten my world that was crumbling down.
Oh seeking your resemblance in reflection of window pane.
Oh how I think of you in every situation everyday.
I pray that you will think of me at night.
Yesterday is yesterday,
Yet my heart still, stay in youth.
Remember my childhood friend, you,
Whom I always can lean on when troubles come.
Though communication isn't available,
In Christ we are one; in Christ, love binds us.

Dear Eliza,

Very moving words! Instead of good-byes, we should be saying, "until we meet again." I've hard a hard time with that one, having to say goodby to my son Michael. I believe in my heart that one day we will meet again, when I am called "Home".
