I’m haunted by her Whispered words, Her hair, her face She’s a shadow from The darkness, A lady born of mystery With a look and Twist of a slender wrist, I am mesmerized Within her soul Can’t you hear her now She calls to us all Upon a barren ledge, Overlooking the endless sea I am not the only one Who has come this way And I know that, I am not the last To look upon Those colorless eyes, And into a heart that knows not The consequences of Emotional greed To satisfy the tell-tale Signs of humanity In decline I, in almost all certainty, Should have recognized All the warnings Before I stopped To listen to her song Now, finally, I think I am in love |

I like how this is nothing like an ordinary love poem. It's a nice change. I love the line "she's a shadow from the darkness." Nicely done! -Peaceful "I'm just me, trapped in a body." |

Dear PK~ I have to agree with Peaceful_Dreamer. This is an a different type of love poem. I found it quite unique. Great job PK! Love, Patricia 'When you find a dream within your heart, don't ever let it go. |

Thank you all. I love the comments about being a different type of love poem. Sad but true. |
