A look, a wink The weight of anticipation As it tugs on my heart Irresistably drawn I follow where you go I gulp for air But find no relief From the mounting preasure in my chest So close now I can smell you Sweet mellon and cool cucumber Your touch races through me Like Lightning to the thunder of my heart So slowly we come together Exploring the feel of one another The warmth, the softness You open yourself to me And I pour myself out Your voice Soothing and encouraging The preasure held inside so long Boils to the surface Spilling out uncontrolled With an accompaniment of tears Such release, I've waited for so long I rest now, spent Enveloped within you Naked But no longer alone. I like this. The ending lines were powerful in that one word line "naked", and "but no longer alone". |
