i am sitting here thinking of you,
thoughts of our past.
i do not understand,
why it had to end.
why could you not love me,
the way i love you?
i wish i could make you love me,
i know it is not possible.
you never even tried!
she always got in the way.
i wish i could just have you one more time.
i know it will not happen.
so, i will always think of you,
as the man who could never loved me.

What a heart-breaking read! I felt the sadness as if it had just happened to me. I know the depth of feeling, because I have been there also.
