The coming misty morns of summers fading into fall, bring a magic of their own. Pungent earthy aroma of sweet rose petals, and green shady leaves... sigh a last breath. A death full of promise, as a fulfillment of Spring. A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

I'm a big fan of your writing, this is one reason why... It appears as though you buried something deep within this piece that is peeking out, but is hard to identify. I have some confusion here as to whether you are creating a metaphor for death in the form of autumn, a metaphor for autumn in the form of death, or just drawing a comparison... or maybe I'm way, way off... LOL Either way, the image here was vivid - you have a talent for imagery, in your poetry I always feel the colours come alive. Keep up the wonderful work. Your faithful fan, ~Allan You eat the brains of an old, wise man. |

Ellie, wow.. its like you took our preacher's sermon and put it in condensed poetic form. So much meaning in so few lines. |
