Its not the height its not the fall not the creaking of the rope its not the wind its not the rain that robs me of my hope Its the middle of the bridge that ruins all my soul it grinds me up and spits me out and leaves me no control For the middle of the bridge is that last place you decide to keep on walking or go back and not reach the other side Always have i stopped there to ponder what's inside the heart of bravery and honor or cowardice despised Sometimes I've been shoved across and sometimes i have leaped sometimes i have sat there long deprived of peace and sleep Now I find myself again in the bridge's middle this time i am waiting though for another's fear not little keeps her standing in between and though she stands there with screams of fear for her..... I'll wait here in the middle. |
