Spring Fever Forgive me if my bed's unmade My kitchen is in shambles. God has given such a day For gardening and rambles. If you've a job for me outdoors, Dear Lord, I'm more than willing. This is a day to cleanse the soul And make a life fulfilling. It is a lovely day like this When Nature must be tasted. No other need's desperate enough That such a day be wasted. The exhilarating air of spring Restores my flagging spirit, And though a sense of duty calls I do not choose to hear it. Joyce Johnson 3/13/04 |

Joyce I know where you are coming from. It is hard to stay indoors and do your chores when it is such a beautiful day outside. Love Isobel |
