Changing Path

Hand held in trembling hand
the protector and the protected
facing danger, swords in hand.
Standing on firm foundation
knowing deep in knower
defeat is not an option.

Waiting, on guard, expecting
an enemy show of mighty hand
probing the never ending dark.
Light flashing on the path
direction, clearly illuminated
unseen allies mark the way.

Cautiously advancing they go
borrowed armor glowing bright
facing their fear with confidence.
Strength flows from ancient word
those who oppose are disposed
swords cutting both to and fro.

They progress together as one
watching, guarding each step
bonded in battle and covenant.
They smile a little for each
roles interchange with precision
reliance gloved, earned with love.

Very nice.  I was visited by my twin grandbabies today.  I can see them in a few years, the little boy protecting his sister with his shining sword.  Love, Joyce

(smiles) Awwwwwwwww, I just love how life gets everyone to reach to one another, sweet friend, first parents take care of their children then when the children geow up they take care of their parents, and everything in-between! (big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Daniel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

A very well written poem. It's obvious much work went into this! Grover.

Daniel

Mighty strong poem.  You know, words too can be cutting like swords.  (Strength flows from ancient word)...

baby you know we have won the battles as of yet but we both know the war is still out there and we both know what we have to do to win the war. Thank goodness "Dad" is on our side.

Annie
