I Like the Smell

Fragrance thin like silky scarf,
Layered her presence in the air,
Yet a breeze would have her
Melted entwining with dust.

A breath and she is no more,
Yet I seek after her scarf each night she's gone.
A breath and all my hopes demolished in dark.
Dark coffee reminds me of her fragrance.

When she is there, I can't be near;
When she is not, I wish my fingers on her hair.
Yet when she is around,
It's hurt to see she isn't with me.

Fragrance thin like silky scarf,
If there is any chance, topics will find us.
Yet I can't help, but
To show how much I care.

If love comes too easily,
Some may not cherish;
Yet even if I'm a fool now, I
I can't help but be in love with-

You.
