Fantasies in Frost

I see each frosted evergreen
Stand glowing in the sun.
It is a winter world, pristine,
With morning just begun.

By afternoon, the rime and frost
Has melted from the trees
And all that loveliness is lost,
Until the night time freeze.

But in the dark, the magic starts
Occuring once again
And fantasies in frost imparts,
Upon my windowpane!

Joyce:  We are having a blizzard here today and supposed to get around 10 inches of snow by tonight.  Looks like we will make it! There's wind too so will be drifting. Thanks for commenting!

BettyLou~
I was thinking while reading this ...
that you have such a lovely box of word-crayons
with which you create these special portraitures of nature's scenes~

Lovely this ... lovelier you~
