I'm enveloped by memories Fragments of the past I cannot take away regrets How long will it last? Sometimes emotions get too much Sorrow takes its place In my bewildered confused state I'm cornered in my maze Forgiveness, if it could set free My weary burdened heart Then why am I still traumatized Why am I still stuck? This aching pain is eating up My resplendent day If only I can put aside All feelings of dismay And so I start to say a prayer Seeking solace in Him With God all things are possible I find peace again --------------------- The power of prayer is infinite...
