Walking along the edge,
Sometimes too close,
But sometimes too far.
I look over the edge and can't see,
The bottom or the top,
Trapped in ecstasy,
Ready to crumble.
My only way out,
Sandwiched between,
The small challenges,
Of the day to day,
War.
I wait for the wings of birds,
To carry me off upon the sun,
So I may stay in this place,
But move beyond the thin,
Walkway,
Suspended upon
The sky where I live
And where I live to live
Till the end where I cease.

I can relate to this and I truly hope the wings of liberation are close.  Well done, indeed.
