Winter blue sun breaks low across clouds gathered like a gauze scarf
under where you, blue jean clad smiling gift, rock in gold and womanhood.

Snow lies about the season, lies about the chill in your long, thin hands
rubbing  a yellow gold ring where lies about the world's spin, falling off your lips.

These cold white chattering bones, covered by lips and longings too deep
too  sensually licked over the slippery feel of  sliding me into you, on the high slope.

What you gave as your sideways smile, coyly you kiss as your perfumed, dark hand
takes the matter of a Christmas list, bending my will as the North wind whispers icily.

Ours is a scribbled list of firsts.  Every breath you blow into my mouth, another day
gives way to a new light shining on your teeth while you dream with hands clutching my chest.

We said goodnight, staring at the untouchable lips in the spying light of a moon
sobbing for your children calling us through our parting kiss.

I woke smelling your skin and the indigo night in your long black hair.  Your lips
part to show the gold surrounding your teeth where my tongue probes your blue winter.

Me too! The way you express this with the images...it's as if I'm right there in the poem itself. Beautiful read!

Quite a pleasing use of metaphor in both the pieces you've posted, Sparticus.
Although I didn't comment on the other, I really enjoyed the innovation and imagery in both.

This is intriguing and beautiful - like the woman in contrast to winter.  I've always thought of winter as a woman - I suppose she'd be the original "Ice Princess"?
Nice one.
