Be Afraid of the Sun No More

I keep a diary of everything.
A piece of me, my past flees away
As I catch bits of paper rain in my hands.
Yesterday, the river of my eyes
Floods a dew out of red red sun.

Oh my mirror, the sea,
What a cruel joke it made,
I see another red red sun
Sitting right next to me.
Oh how much I want to lend her my shoulders.

A bland breeze, a feeble sponge,
Gently walks across the river of my eyes,
Chasing behind the trace of the dews,
Until the red red sun is hidden
Behind the white smiley clouds.

Tomorrow will be another dawn,
Yet I desire the sunset of today.
Tomorrow will be too vague,
Today I'm glad, because I'm alive.
Yesterday was my lock,
A lock that was sealed in a guarded place.

Balmy puff brings my soul home,
Suddenly I have heartbeats again.
Now I'm not afraid of the sun,
For it can't burn me,
I'm protected under the clouds.

Tomorrow will be another dawn,
Yet I desire the sunset of today.
Tomorrow will be too vague,
Today I'm glad, because I'm alive.
Yesterday was my lock,
A lock that was sealed in a guarded place.

A bland breeze, a feeble sponge,
Gently walks across the river of my eyes,
Chasing behind the trace of the dews,
Until the red red sun is hidden
Behind the white smiley clouds.

Well written piece.  A lot of feeling poured into this one.
