Tell me this, when was the last war you fought? This morning or ten billion years ago? You’ve kept me in here for ten billion years. I’ve stashed behind sad smiles what you’ve thought, And mimicked calm and crazy what I know. Sit up and don’t talk, I’ll choke on your fears, The leprechaun laughs when the dumb clown leers. For ten billion years I’ve watched the grass grow. My glassy eyes have mossed all that you’ve taught, The deaf man can’t see what the blind man hears. Your desire seems strange, too dense to know, You’ll never find here what elsewhere you’ve sought. It took ten billion years to uncover Your plot to amuse, conquer, and destroy. My time here has been destructive and white, My years here grew simple as a flower. I thought you were a priest, you’re a decoy, The symbol sends three demons washed in white. I’ve served the Empire and its fourteenth sight, It served only to exceed and annoy. Ten billion years it takes to recover From the dead stars that sprinkle through the night. Ten billion years it takes from death to joy, I mock the lies you came to discover. "I am the hobbyhorse. I am the stapler in the mud, the toad in your brain. I am a head full of birds, a future full of apples." |

(big hugggsssssss) That is exactly how long it can feel when living a lie, dearest friend, and all those crooked smiles and deceptions can truly incarcerate some souls forever! (sad sigh) I hope that you are free from those who have you live lies as no one deserves to live like this except those who lie, who deserve to be tantalized in the guilt and pity forever, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Well wrought piece, the message flows in the images. Just one nit...a little tighter. But that is just my humble opinion. Sparticus. Even with insects- |

Yes, it may seem a little ethereal, and that was the intent, to keep it on the edge of thought, a mystery, a reverie. Thanks for responding! "I am the hobbyhorse. I am the stapler in the mud, the toad in your brain. I am a head full of birds, a future full of apples." |
