Blue jeans fit to your long legs, brushing against limbs of bare trees where I lie staring at your long hair spinning my imagination. On your reddish brown face, eyes that telescope into mine desires richer than the chocolate syrup I want to tease you with. Those ragged silly moments on poetry angers, where is the fun? As you shut off my monitor, gazing into my lips longing to kiss you. Taking you as mine dreams fall from the sky like dead leaves. A precious moment with you makes a story to tell our unborn children. And I write a poem that only you will hear me say. And the voice strokes your hips as I bend to kiss your blue jeans gathered in my hand. This love warms even cold corners where the ice builds on roads crumbling under the weight of poems stacked in corners waiting to burn. Even with insects- |
