We pose in black and white
and all the reds, browns and flushed
colors of pink bending across
culture, language, age and hair
as your face shines upon your neck
like a balloon and mine melts with
candle light smoke of your hair
laying across my arm. I am half a
head taller with lips finding your ears
long enough to whisper, "te amo" and
retreat as the camera beeps into a
clacking flash and we are stuck on
photo paper in a frame that tells me
I am a happy fool
dancing a crazy dance,
with a happy fool
dancing in crazy feet;
across the wall we walk
now that nothing is impossible.

Even with insects-
some can sing
some can't

Sparticus: This one made me smile! We just had a family portrait taken and the photographer wanted us all leaning together and looking happy! No small feat for 11 people and a baby.........especially the baby!

This is cleverly worded and sets a definite atmostphere! I love it!
