Tree shivers in breeze
Pride of summer shaken free
Airborne foliage

Color falls from trees
The emerald lawn obscured
Bambo rake now smiles

Pungent smoke billows
Evidence of Summer burns
Eyes dew in silence

Well done haiku, I love all oriental short verse such as Mondo, Katauta, Somonka, Tanka, Sijo, Sedaka, Senru, Dodoitsu, etc. You take the form to a nice level.  In Haiku the form should never get in the way of your expressions.  You did very well expressing these.

Dennis; dear friend...how your gift for haiku continues to grow more lovely! Hugs

These make me hauntingly nostalgic for the throes of Autumn.  Being from the same state, you might agree right about now!   So lovely, really.
