Emotional Footprints

It has been winter...years after years,
Without much words uttered,
I felt our friendship... melted
As snow dissolved... at my door step.

Yet you,
It's you who tell me
Our footprints are still
Clinging on the snow.

It's your voice,
Deep into my ears,
Calls upon love,
My emotion to tears.

The bridge
That once was frozen by ice,
Now is broken... fallen into river,
Flowing into the deep... arm of the sea.

Yet a rainbow bows
Beckoning us as we climb,
Sitting on its shoulders,
As laughter slides... off its back.

It's your voice,
Deep into my ears,
Call upon love,
My emotion to tears.

It has been a winter... with stormy snow,
Without much of our notice,
Heavenly gate have mercy on us-
Spring has come to set us free.
