Recovery? Struggling to be ordinary citizenship an illusive goal. Picket fence, taxes and a dog seemingly; out of reach, a dream. Painting on a happy face a job to equal rented home. Going out, smiling hollow smile voices stilled if only for awhile. Ordinarily extra-ordinary squish, squeezed into painful mold. How to be like...successful hard to catch, harder to hold. Hallelujah, offered understanding to share this common ground. Trick seems to remain focused building, lightning, purpose sound. Perhaps with another, we may walk afar, catch a rainbow. Taking turns leading, growing sharing a path where we're going. Struggling to be just ordinary functioning, semi-normal seems the goal. A tiny start with genuine smiles stepping up, into real recovery? ~~~~~~  |
