Susie My dog and I went for a walk. I truly wish that dog could talk. She'd speak about the creatures creeping Through my yard as I lay sleeping. She found some trails and sniffed a bit And wanted me to join in it. I wish she could tell me of those Exciting things her good nose knows. Joyce: I'm so glad you have Susie. Hope she is all healed up by now. My dog runs his nose all over me when I come home from anywhere. Wonder what he finds out? Maybe he can smell the meat counter at the grocery store? Really cute poem. Betty Lou Hebert |

Susie? oh my! our lovely black lab, Susie, passed away last year. She was in such pain. we had to put her down. She was such a loving and faithful member of our family. My daughter was devistated. what a coincidence that your treasure has the same name. hug her for me... the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Dear Pegasus111. Mine is a yellow lab. They are such wonderful dogs and I know you and your family miss yours. Mine has one bad habit that worries me. I live on a big farm so she need not get on the road but she does to bark at the neighbor dog. Most people are careful but not everyone. Love Joyce |

Hi Joyce, it's nice to meet you. Well, I'll have to admit that there are times, that I'm glad that my sense of smell isn't any keener then it is...lol But it sure would be nice to know what are pets are thinking about, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing this Joyce, it was really nice! Richy |
