misery my only company,

No letters,

I love the emptiness this conveys with your closing line "I seek no other." I would say its almost happily empty.
a sad but intriguing write!

Yes. Love hurts, Lord knows I know that feeling all too well. Hang in there and you'll find someone (I've gotta keep that in mind myself)

its odd how we write poetry sometims from our own experience and sometimes from imaginings but no matter this is still a very touching and deeply sad poem.

we forget that our writers
just want to try to express a side
they seldom ever visit in real life...
