Just … If~ ~*Marge Tindal*~ If I should pass this way again as word-thoughts in your head Know, my friend, I live again though some may think me dead~ There are too many words to pen and nowhere is there time to spill this ink-of-thinking gift in foreverly poetic rhyme~ In a quiet meadow I will come to you Listen … just listen It’s all you have to do~ I cannot take the words with me and there’s too much left to say … Come to the meadow now, my friend we must not wait another day~ Catch my word-thoughts and pen them when I am gone so far away Keep the spirited poetess of me breathing for though I tried … ……… I cannot stay~ ~*~ *Are you listening, my 'friend' ?* July 2003 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Marge my sister of heart...The meadow, the place where your heart abides, is beautiful. But this, "for though I tried … ……… I cannot stay~" frightens me.  |
