(AN: Same muse as before. You guys' advice has been helpful to me. I'm getting over the fact that she's seeing some other guy, but I still care about her and it hurts some times. Adam Sandler's Grow Old With You helped inspire this poem.)

There For You

I'll go make you smile, when you're sad.
Be around to share the mood when you're glad.
I'll give you my coat should you be cold.
Though my feelings remain untold.

I'll be there for you through and through.
Should his love prove to you to be untrue.
However should you want me out.
I'll go without a sound, I won't pout.

Should you need a sympathetic ear.
A shoulder to catch a stray tear.
I'll be there for you.
To console you when you're blue.

If I must wander the cold, lonely path.
For unrequited love shows me her wrath.
I'll put up with it and move on.
Should you want me to be gone.

My heart may ache.
I've got yet another heartbreak.
But you seemed happy with him.
I wish you happiness to the brim.

I hug my coat to my side in the cold.
If only I could be a touch more bold.
If you need a friend.
I'll be there till the end.

I can be the man who'll be there for you.
I'll bring you medicine if you've got the flu.
I'll give you my spare blanket.
Should the heat in your side of the dorm buy it.

I hope, should you read this.
You don't put me on the blacklist.
I've been called a stalker, an obsessive.
By no means am I possessive.

My words should be enough to show you.
That those accusations are often untrue.
You seem different from the others I've loved.
Because I haven't yet been completely snubbed.

Your friendship is enough for me.
Even though my heart is enraptured by thee.
I'll be there for you, should you be in need.
For a fellow of a different breed.

I hope one day I'll find true love.
I pray for strength from God above.
If it's not to be with you.
I wish you smooth sailing through and through.

(big hugggssssssss) So many women are looking for a sensitive and loving person just like you, sweet friend, I too have heard this song from the Wedding Singer soundtrack and I only wish all lovers could give this unconditionally through and through! (sigh) Your heart is chivalrous and wishing for someones happiness is the least selfish one can ever be, God Bless You, you will find true joy, we all love you so much!
