Happy are the holidays
at the fire of friendships' in abide
Joyous are the memories
of those close to our side~

Reaching out to touch
those who are far away
Knowing we can bring them close
with just a thought today~

Tender are the recalls
of those no longer here
Those caring and sharing hearts
that we've loved so dear~

Magical is the love
that draws our thoughts to home
When across the span of time
some no longer roam~

Glorious are our blessings
when we look around
Seeing friends that remind us
of the happiness we've found~

From this little corner of the world
we send loving thoughts your way
With frequent and earnest prayers
to find you this holiday~

Dear Bill and Marge: What a treasured card you have created! I have printed it out on good paper and it is prominently displayed on our mantel, so we may enjoy it all through the season and others can read it too. Thank you and I'm sure everyone here really appreciates your thoughtfulness and creativity!

A tentative poem which I really enjoyed. Thanx for the smile and memories it prompted. Moreover I wish you both a truly joyous time this Chrostmas. Being away from home has made me realise more the virtues of family and friends and this poem shows what really makes life worth lving for. dx
