To You The other week was a horrible one, I felt lost Everyone tried to cheer me up and, told me jokes to make me laugh I told them I'm ok, and that I'll be fine, and they listened, But deep inside I wasn't My heart beat so fast at times I think it forget to beat every once in a while And when it did felt a stab of pain in my heart At lunch (Friday) I started to cry, And everyone asked if I was ok.. but I just shook 'em off I could tell they were just saying that to be nice As I left the crowd of people trying to be nice I saw you.. Embarrassed as I was to cry in front of you I couldn't stop Tears of anger for rolling down my cheeks I pushed Lani away as she asked 'You ok?' but you still followed You asked me what was a matter and for some reason I felt like you really cared I hope you did and still do But for some reason you were the only one who got the message to my head.. 'Hey I care, what's a matter?' So I told you and you listened. Threw my sadness, and sorrow you never judged You gave me a hug One I will never forget.. And made me feel whole again.. after that And for the rest of the day I didn't feel sad anymore To you, I owe my thanks To you, I am forever in your debt. |
